Is using RAM slots 2 and 4 the same as 1 and 3?? | [H]ard|Forum As in the thread title, if i was too install 2 x 2gb sticks in the 2 and 4 slots on my motherboard would the results be the same as if i used 1 and 3. Motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-EP45-DQ6. Memory slots 1 and 3 are Yellow and 2 and 4 are red. Which RAM slots to use? 1+3 or 2+4? : pcmasterrace I checked the manual in the support section and it doesn't say anything about which one is better. It does however list slots 2+4 as DDR4_1 and DDR4_2, while slots 1+3 are listed as DDR4_3 and DDR4_4. With that numbering system it seems that they have prioritized slots 2+4. Or am I thinking to hard about this?
